O0h La La!! This Saturday is sure to be fun for all our tres chic local scrapbookers attending Le Jour D'Artiste at Scrapbooks Etc. This Saturday, myself and 3 other instructors I greatly admire; Carol Wingert, Jenny Packard, and Jennifer Wagner will be teaching an all day artful event! We will be instructing 4 different project classes over the course of our day-long event and bringing in a lovely lunch for our creatively inclined students . I have included a group shot of our projects for the day! Jennifer Wagner with be teaching a home decor project that incorporates texture, inks, paints and more. Jenny Packard will be leading the class in the creation of a beautiful keepsake box, you will get to experiment with crackle paint , glimmer mist, and other artful products as you create this beauty of a box! Once more my good friend Carol Wingert has taken vintage charm to a new level with her incredible folio project that uses a gorgeous metal garden gate on the cover of a repurposed book... Carol you cease to amaze me!! I will be teaching a fun book construction class where we will learn to make a book sleeve as well as two handmade books that fit nice and cozy inside the sleeve from scratch! We only have a few spots left, we love to have you fill one of them, give the store a call if you would like to join us this Saturday, February 23rd 9am-6pm, 480-854-2303. I will create a photo album on my sidebar with some individual project shots!

Can't wait until Saturday. I am so lucky to be able to take advantage of all the talent that is available here...enjoyed a class with Kim a week and a half ago. Lucky, lucky!

I'm back in the valley, but I'm committed to a Japanese thing this weekend. Sorry to be missing your event. ENJOY! I'll try and catch another one of your BPS classes before the year is up.
